When i import a srt subtitles file in DVD-Lab, and compile the DVD, i cant get the subs in sync.
The subs r 100% in sync with the AVI-file (I converted the a xvid to DVD).
Does someone know how i get those subs in sync?

Hi!
Are the subs in sync on your commercial DVD from which you initially created the XviD file?

The Xvid file never came from a DVD. Its a compressed HDTV file, and someone else made those .srt file for me, which is 100% in sync.
When i made the DVD, the subs are in sync in the beginning, but after a while everything gets out of sync :scared:

Sounds like you may have somehow gone from 25.000fps to 23.976fps or 29.97 fps (or vice versa) when converting to DVD...

Is there any simple solution for fixing this?

Hi
I'am having probs with subs
if i have a video avi file that is 23.976fps and i encode it
to a m2v file at 25fps both files have the same time 1:30:24.
Now when i try to use the sub file (srt) 25fps, it is out of
sync, i have also try a diffrent sub file with 23.976fps, and that is also out of sync!
Anyone able to help with this ?
Thanks

I got the same problem as you and used the same procedure. I think its a bug in dvd-lab. When i author in ifoedit its synced. But you have to rename the mpv file from cce and you also have to convert the text sub to dvd sub in subtitle creator. And dont forget to set the subtitle colors in ifoedit.

If you use DVDLab Pro 2.0 you should update
-Fixed problem with menu audio on certain Pioneer players (DV340, DV344, DV525)
-Menu vobs are now smaller (like in 1.5 version)
-Some timing issues with subtitles
-Creating over 1000 subtitles shows "Out of memory" message
-Added Merge Projects (File menu) to merge two or more separate DAL projects

Hi,
Maybe you can:
1°) Make your DVD (without the subtitles).
2°) Use SubtitleCreator to add your .srt subtitle to your DVD.
Cheers
