Hi, I saw a thread about settings but not finding what I'm looking for
I have some xvid video files that have sub and needed to encode to wmv.
I was previously using vdub to encode subs and then using wme to encode streaming media to CBR 600kps 2 sec framerate 29.97 frame 8 sec buffering windows media 9 codec (not advanced since it looks worse on playback on comp)..
I found out after searching that I can just use wme and ffdshow to encode xvid and subs right in it..I love it...
But there are alot of settings and I don't know how to use any of them...
Can some give me some examples setting for to improve quality...I don't care about speed of encoding as these are all two pass that take up to 4 hours to encode sometimes on my core 2 duo machine..I just want to improve quality for streaming media...not sure if I can stream yet as quality is average and I've seen actually better quality using vp6 codec at lower bitrates but I don't have time to work with winamp and only have access to my media host which only allows wmv or flash at this time...I'm attempting to stream my short films I made at school which is in korean which I had someone encode to xvid since he only knows how to use that and all video has now been encoded...the file size is around 400mb per vidoe..i have 4..any help would be awesome to help get my singing career started..thanks
