Just a noobie question,
I have an mpeg-1 vid that i opened with VDM and i'd like to save it to mpg container with direct stream copy but i can only select these :

You can't. Use TMPGEnc or some other similar program.

Hi!
Exactly what do you want to accomplish? What do you mean by putting "an MPEG-1 in an MPG container"? It'as already an .MPG file...

im sure he did some editing and wanted to save without re-encoding

He's probably just trying to extract certain scenes. A simple merge & cut most likely.

I too wonder why vdm or vdmpg is not modded to save in mpeg.
neutrogenik: you may want to try AVIDEMUX which doesn't require re-encoding.
