View Full Version : [So finally solved]RealVideo 10 (FourCC: RV40) encoding in AVI files?

I've seen RV40 was shown on FourCC's site and seem that RealVideo 10 can be encoded within AVI files but, I don't know how to do that.
It seems that RV doesn't get any VFW??
Or I should do that job with CLI or some other tools???

maybe its possible to pass the stream through to avi with ffmpeg or mplayer?

What bond is saying is that maybe ffmpeg or mencoder can remux from rmvb/mkv to avi.
So rather than encoding to avi, you encode to a rmvb file and then remux. That's if it works. No idea why you would want RV9EHQ in an avi container anyway.

Just wonder if RV can encoded inside avi only.
