I'm new with DVD rebuilder and Ive been trying to backup some DVD's but I can never finish a DVD. I get a RUNTIME ERROR 6 OVERFLOW error every single time. Ive googled this problem and it has taken me to this forum, but I am yet to find a solution. All of the threads i was looking at about this error are from about 2 years ago, so i'm wondering if maybe anyone has any new information on this problem. Any tips are appreciated. Thank You
I'm using the latest DVD REBUILDER freeware version. i think its V 0.97.

1. buy the pro version, you'll never regret it.
2. run fixVts (http://www.codecs.com/FixVTS_download.htm) after ripping the DVD, that can sove the problem, it did for me b4 I bought the pro version.
3.Rip the DVD with ripit4me (http://www.ripit4me.org/download.html) that will ensure you good rip.
Pro version don't have this error and has mach more features.
After buying the pro version you'll get all upgrades free

This error can come under any version, if you do some pre-processing on the source, specifically cutting the source segments inbetween using Vobblanker or other tools. So run your source without any editing and you wont face any problems.

I agree, DVD-RB Pro has much more benefits and control over what you are doing than the freeware release
FixVTS is good at curing problem DVDs, I've used this with stuff that DVDSHrink refused to read correctly after running it throught FixVTS with the 'full DVD' option DVDShrink worked fine
Also, VOBBlanker has yet to cause me problems with DVD-RB, but really I just use it for blanking things, haven't really tried any of the cutting options, I still use DVDShrink in reauthor mode for things like cutting rubbish from the from/end of movies
VOBBlanker cures problems that may be left behind in a DVD you've been playing with, plus has the option to backup your DVD files you've processed just in case it doesn't work quite right
I can't comment on RipIt4Me, as I use AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter working together with no problems

There are also runtime errors when I run DVD Rebuilder in a non-English locale.

VOBBlanker has yet to cause me problems with DVD-RB, but really I just use it for blanking things, haven't really tried any of the cutting optionsIt will if you use it, as it has an incrrect entry in the time map table. Also, it does allow cuts on open GOPs, which might or might not be harmful (so does DVD Shrink but it doesn't give you notice).
As for RipIt4Me, it is the most compliant ripper out there. And it's free.
