Italic subtitles in DVobSub?

hi,

is there a way to make subtitles that some words (or letters) would be displayed in italics with DirectVobSub? Which tags to use and how? And with which format to go, *.srt, *.sub?

I think the only way to make some subs go italic and such is to use ssa subtitlling format.. Somewhere there is a program to convert srt2ssa i think.. which you can just use SubRip to rip to srt then convert and make the changes that you want.
