I'm using DGIndex 1.4.8. I load a VOB into it and save the project. Then I parse the D2V (using DGIndex) and see the length (duration) of the VOB. I compare it to the length of the VOB specified in IFO using IFO_Edit.
It looks like the length (duration) reported by DGIndex is off by a small amount usually 0.1 to 0.9 seconds.
I've tried this with a number of VOBS e.g., the VIDEO_TS.VOB on the THIRTEENTH FLOOR DVD.
I've also tried encoding the VOB directly with Windows Media Encoder and the length comes out correct.
So it seems like this is a bug in DGIndex since the IFO and Windows Media Encoder agree on the length of the VOB.
I need to have the durations be more accurate because I take screenshots in an automated way.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue? Is there any way to workaround this?
Thanks,
-Imran
