video playing faster than audio.....

I have been having this problem lately with media player classic...

I rip my dvd's to my hard drive because it's easier to watch them on my PC, than to buy a dvd player and a TV...

I never had a problem with MPC until now....

The movie starts off good, but the audio / video begins to go out of sync about 10 minutes in....

It has to be a setting on MPC or something I installed recently because movies that never had a problem are now going out of sync.....

if I stop the movie and start it a little before or after the problem, the audio / video is back in sync for awhile.....

I have a fast enough processor and enough ram, so I know it's not a hardware problem....

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....

What filters/decoders/renders have you for video and audio ?

This may help to understand your problem ... :)

What seb said, also check your CPU usage to be sure your computer can handle the file.
