I splited a DVD to a M2V and AC3 using DVD Decrypter to add subtitles and reauthor with DVD-Lav Pro.
I do this with alot of DVDs and never had problems, but now after I reauthored with DVD-lab the audio was out of synch with the video.

I guess the problem is with the DVD because with any other DVD it works fine.
When watching the DVD (before reauthoring) the audio is synched.

Anyone have a clue.. ?

Thanks.

did you take the possible delay into account ?

it appears in the name of the .ac3 file, in milliseconds.

0ms

VTS_01_1 - 0x80 - Audio - AC3 - 6ch - 48kHz - DRC - English - DELAY 0ms.AC3

Hi!

1) What is the DVD Title and Region?

2) What software and procedure(s) did you use to rip the DVD?

Do a mux with muxman; if no delay, the problem may be dvdlab.

Susana, I tried Muxman, but no luck.. still doesnt synch.

setarip_old, how do I check the Region and Title ?
I used DVD Decrypter, choosing PGC 1 (which is the main movie) then in Stream Processing Demuxed the video and audio.

I have done the procedure dozens of times, it's not what i'm doing or the software I use because with every other movie I have no problem.

The problem may be first cell(s) of that PGC. Check if that cell(s) contain audio or are dummy cells.

Thanks alot Susana ;) !

It appears there were 5 cells in that PGC, so I cancelled the first 4 (which had no audio) and left only the last one to demux. After that it worked great !
Thanks again.

setarip_old, how do I check the Region and Title ?"Title" of the DVD="Name" of the movie on the DVD. The Region number appears on the DVD, the DVD package, and in the DVD Decrypter log.
It appears there were 5 cells in that PGC, so I cancelled the first 4 (which had no audio)Sounds like your DVD contained the initial version of "RipGuard" copy protection - and should have been cleaned up by running it through VOBBlanker after ripping it with DVD Decrypter. This can be confirmed (or refuted) if you post the DVD Title and Region...
