Hallo!
How to detect what method was a divx movie created in?
Is there some "divx detector" program?
I wish it will show me some of methods like below:

1. 3.11 low motion
2. 3.11 low motion vki
3. 3.11 fast motion
4. 3.11 fast motion vki
5. 3.11 mixed (avi revolution) low+low lub low+fast
6. sbc
7. divx 4.xx series 1-pass
8. divx 4.xx series 2-pass

you're not asking for little, are you?

here's a few pointers: avic from my page (called avi fourcc changer) will show you the forcc code of movies. divx = divx4, div4 = divx3fast motion, div3 = divx3 low motion.

vki: load virtualdub, advance by keyframe.. if the intervals are irregular and you can see if they're at scene changes (go a couple frames back and forth) it's vki.. if it comes at regular intervals it's not vki.

mm4 & sbc: fourcc code is div3, keyframe intervals irregular.. but I don't think there's a way to really make sure in these cases
