When this new option is selected the ability to edit the label of the disc that would be created is now ghosted out, so it appears that you won't be able to add a disc title

If you change the disc label via the cretae ISO option, then select the direct to imgburn option, will the label still be added to the disc

Or is this an oversight that wasn't picked up .....

How can I edit the disc label using the new direct to imgburn option

It uses the name of the original directory of label. So if your Source Directory looks like this:

D:\DVD\THE_MATRIX\VIDEO_TS

The output volume label will be "THE_MATRIX" -- you can always see it as the root title on the "Input Settings" tab.

If you change it (by switching to ISO output, changing it, and switching back) the new one will be used. You can also set it in the REBUILDER.INI file.

What happens when the size is more than the disc in 1 click mode? I guess it will give an error right?

ImgBurn will fail -- and it will be recorded so in your LOG.

ImgBurn will fail -- and it will be recorded so in your LOG.So, if it does fail, it could maybe make the ISO instead???

That'd be redundant. If you want to do that then choose the other function and select "write to disc". Of course if the ISO is too big -- there'd really be no reason to create an ISO from it anyway, would there?

In the new version (to be released soon), if your TXT_DATA includes a label, it will pick that up as default for you. If not, it will then pick upo the parent folder name of VIDEO_TS. ImgBurn (www.imgburn.com) also allows for manual input of the label.
