Hi,
I started Rebuilder and it got to 10.9% Overall Progress and hasn't moved from there in over an hour. I was doing a bunch of browsing at the time and had Photoshop open.

Do you think RB froze up or is just working slow because I was using too much CPU on the side?

Should I Abort and restart?

Will RB work pretty good while doing other computer tasks or is is likely to freeze up?

If RB does work while doing other light but possibibly occassional intensive computing is it possible RB will complete a job but introduce errors or artifacts?

Thanks,
Tom

You should be able to run RB with other tasks with no problem. But, of course, that's a function of the operating system, no DVD-RB.

You say it hasn't moved.... what is it doing? Is it in the PREPARE, ENCODE, or REBUILD phase? If it's encoding, what encoder are you using? What version of RB? What disc are you encoding? What settings are you using? Did you do any preprocessing? Is the disc light blinking?

More information is required to make any kind of determination.
