dvdstyler fails on vobedit's join point

Is there a way to solve this?
maybe another vob joiner works better with dvdstyler?
maybe it's just me? I've seen on other posts that dvdstyler works perfectly with vobs joined with vobedit.
The vobs I joined were cut by dvdshrink useing the option "set start\end frames".

I could be mistaken, but if I remember correctly, in order to have DVD Shrink create cut .VOBs that will join properly, you have to do the cutting at the Chapter marks...

I see now that dvdstyler failes even if the VOB files are not joined, so the problem is with dvdshrink's frame cutting.
Does anybody know about a solution for this?
Does it happen with other DVD authors?

The VOB files were succesfully played by MPC.
DVDStyler failes just after the first VOB is finished.
I can't author a DVD with more than one VOB file.

It failes just after the first vob is finished.Since DVDStyler fully processes the first .VOB, it would seem that DVD Shrink is NOT at fault.

I'd ask you again, have you successfully played each of the individual .VOBs (before attempting to join)?

I played each VOB on Media player Classic and they all played well.

This is the error message I get:
