Hi. I have a .ts file containing h.264 (mpeg4 avc) video and ac3 audio captured from dvb s2. Opening it with direct show works at the first glance, however that is very unstable when trying to cut out ads, it just won't work reliably.

Is there a direct way via a plugin (.dll) to load either h.264 ts files or at least the raw h.264 video data?

Mpeg2 is nicely supported and I think it's time that proper h.264 support becomes available too!

Well get cracking on the coding then.

Donald Graft has been working on h.264 mpg/ts for his company, maybe one of these days he'll gift us with support in DGDecode. ;) Until then, we sacrifice our rubber chickens to the fickle gods of DirectShowSource.
