Gordian newbie help!

Is there way to get a complete tutorial on Gordian Knot? I have a mpeg movie and I want to encode to avi, somebody told me to use Gordian to do so but it seems to complex the prog. Thank you for your output.

ummm... you might want to try flaskmpg or xmpeg if gknot is a bit complicated... =/

I would recommend Gordian Knot, but if you just want to try and compress a mpg movie quickly with no options then you can try the flaskmpg or xmpeg route... its simple and does the job
