Wish there could be a working preview window implemented. :)

personaly,I think a deep analysis mode would be the best thing he could add.

I dont use the preview window anyway,I just cut the crap out based on size,I dont need to see what it is.

I think, realisticaly, digi should create a new package,Dvd95Expert? with a full screen gui, allowing enough space to have a full time preview window and all the other bells and whistles that many people have come to expect from thier one click program of choice

:)

Yes, auto removal of fake VTS should also be nice to have.

As we know, that already exists in many rippers - eg RipIt4Me (http://www.ripit4me.org/), the PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) plugin and AnyDVD.

fortunatly,dvd95copy is NOT just a ripperActually, neither is the RipIt4Me "package" (RipIt4Me/DVD Decrypter/FixVTS/DVDShrink (Although it's not one program, as you know, the programs are all accessed transparently, through the "RipIt4Me" interface)...

Wish there could be a working preview window implemented. :)I just use an on the fly decrpter anydvd and the preview window works great I already had anydvd before i purchased dvd95copypro I like the fact that with using the ripper atleast for me watching and being able to hear the audio in real time makes selecting title sets a breeze for me. I know there are alot of extremly advanced users like yourself and jwo that can deselect title sets with out the preview funtion but for myself i use dvd95copy and anydvd just to preview the movie and then i close anydvd down so it doesnt interfere with dvd95copys internal decrypter its the best combination for me its great tiny:)

@tinylean

I guess we should be looking forward to another update - to deal with the mess that SONY applied to "RV" (R1) - regarding VTS_2_5 and all of VTS_18 and VTS_19...

Yes - it seems VTS_02_5.VOB has no navpacks whatsoever and is pure crap. If you ignored it from the rip it would do no damage whatsoever.

I guess we should be looking forward to another update - to deal with the mess that SONY applied to "RV" (R1) - regarding VTS_2_5 and all of VTS_18 and VTS_19... Mirrormask RC2 have the same ARccOS version and that one works in Dvd95Copy. But your DVD don't?

@cynthia_oldMirrormask RC2 have the same ARccOS version and that one works in Dvd95CopyOn the day of the release of R1 "RV", I confirmed with the author that, at that time, DVD95Copy did not properly rip it (So it must be somewhat different than the protection scheme used on the R2 version of "Mirrormask").

There should now be an updated version (v.3.7.2.71) of DVD95Copy available that CAN properly deal with the R1 version of "RV"...

Hi! :)

Mirrormask had also a fake VTS_02_3.VOB file (size 14.840 KB) with pure crap in it. Also bad sectors covering that file. VTS_02_2.VOB file last cell is also covering the VTS_02_3.VOB file and was replaced with dummy sectors. Same as the RV DVD.

Generated the same pop-up messages during the rip with the PSL way for DVD Decrypter.

VTS 25 also contained 256 MB of pure crap. The last VTS 26 was also there unreferenced as always on the Sony DVDs.

I'll install the update. :)

Same as the RV DVD.Apparently, something is different regarding the protection schemes of "RV" R1 versus "Mirrormask" R2, since versions of DVD95Copy prior to the just-updated one I've mentioned did not properly process "RV" v.1.

Perhaps you should contact the DVD95Copy author to inquire regarding the specific differences - or analyze the two sets of .IFOs, if they're available to you...

As much as I appreciate DVD95Copy, I'm somewhat disappointed that the author has yet to to make its "Join" function completely operable, in a manner similar to that of DVD2One.

Also, I'm rather surprised that the author hasn't as yet AUTOMATED the identification and elimination of the useless menu .VOBs that appear on so many SONY and Disney releases (Yes, I know I can readily identify them and simply deselect them in DVD95Copy)...

Thanks to digi for the update. I'm sure with setarip's and other's urging, it will become an ever better product.

I'd like to see preview implemented (along with 2 pass encode).

@cynthia_oldYes, auto removal of fake VTS should also be nice to have. With regard to the typical SONY useless "last VTS" (18 and 19 on "RV" Region 1), the program does automatically deal with them...

This is turning into quite a program. I've never used it before but it is looking great! One day I might download it and give it a try.
