Can anyone give me a link/site where I can download some legal samples, still in the '.ts' file. I have a couple but they're like 4 seconds long, am after something more like a minute or two long. Ideally, some of the higher frame rate ones too (50, 59 and 60).

Searching for '.ts' files is a pain as most search engines don't deal with the '.' (the period).

TIA

ASTRA.HD.Demokanal.H.264.002.ts
ASTRA.HD.Demokanal.H.264.003.ts
for sale.... or free download.

H264 1080i 250-300mb per file
1080i we would assume.... but when you look at these samples, they look 1080p

Very nice sample/test footage. Out of interest, what camera was it shot on?

The "New Mobile and Calender" and "Park Run" clips were downloaded from:

ftp://vqeg.its.bldrdoc.gov/HDTV/SVT_exports/

The readme states that the camera used was a Thomson LDK6000.

The 1080p@25 clip is from:

ftp://ftp.ldv.e-technik.tu-muenchen.de/pub/test_sequences/1080p/

Thomson LDK6000 with three 9.2 MP HD-DPM+ CCDs and Canon HJ9X5.5KLL-SC zoom........very nice

For the 1080p 25 clip, the read-me gives:

Camera: Sony HDW-F900
Recorded on (Tape): HDCam
Stored on: DVS
Frame rate: 25 fps (progressive)
Resolution: 1920x1080
Color subsampling: 4:2:0

Sure wish I could get my hands on some source DVCAM or DVCPro footage. All of the samples I've managed to find have been converted (MPEG2, H264, XviD, QT, wmv), invariaby with B-frames.
