On my 4th try I managed to create a divx4 movie from the Matrix DVD I created it using G Knot .21 Beta. When I play the movie back the sound is terrible (it sounds like it bad reverberation or something) any ideas?

this is the sound file I am using: matrix AC3 T01 3_2ch 384Kbps DELAY -101ms.ac3

ac3 -> wav -> mp3
If anyone can help and need additional info let me know.

Thank you in advance

I don't know if I'm able to help, but to track this down:

Wich programs did you use for audio conversion?

Have you checked your wav/mp3 files? Do they already sound bad?

Did you use the specified delay when muxing?

I believe azid and lame ran sometime during the process. I used the Knot program so whatever it uses for audio is what was used. Unless there is someother way to tell.

The .mpg file sounds good.

I selected MPG and 128 k/bit sec bitrate, I checked recalculate video bitrate and delete wav file.

I checked the box finally mux with 101 ms delay with the negative box checked as well.

The sound actually sounds like a record or CD skipping and it is out of sync.

Hope this helps and thank you for responding.
