Couple of newbie questions:
I have about 4 gb of mp2 (about 40 files) files which I captured using ATI redan card (analog). How would I go about creating video dvd-rw/dvd-r using with software I have: Nero 5.5.5.6.4 , MyDVD (useless program) or Prssie Primo that comes with Pioneer DVR-a03. I have not able figure out how to do it.
I was trying it with nero but nero wizerd won't give me the option for creating video dvd, video dvd is greyed out. I can only select data dvd. Also when I did not use nero wizard, I selected DVD UDF/ISO format and burned the dvd-rw. And guess what it created a data dvd. There were no VOB directory on the drive.
I also have Ulead Movie factory and with that I selected total of about 3.5gb of mpeg files and the program calculated that I need about 16gb of free space on my hard drive in order to make the video dvd. I have only 20 gb harddrive. So this program is out of the question.

Is there any way of making home made dvd's. Any tutorial or help would be appreciated. Movie Factory is easy to use but needs lots of temp space to create movie dvd.

I would also like to know what spec should be using for the mpeg file so that I can fit about 2 hrs of video on a dvd with simple still menus. Currently I am using 720X480(NTSC),29fps,8Mb/sec bit rate (default ATI Capture settings). When I was trying out Ulead movie factory program I could fit only about one hour video on the dvd. Do I need to reduce the quality of my video.
