Hi Everyone,
New to this forum, but basically i am having problems with DVD Shrink.Whenever i click on "open files" and select where my films ae located in "Browse for folder". I get an error message showing:-
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue Failed to open file "C:\Documents and Settings\Phil\My Documents\Phil's Music Downloads\VIDEO_TS.IFO"
The system cannot find the file specified.

I get this message or simular showing whatever file i try to open. Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks

Hi!

DVD Shrink can only deal with DVD-compliant packages...

Being new to this game.If i understand you correctly. There is nothing wrong with my version of DVD Shrink, other than i am trying to request it to read information it does not recognise??Me thinks?

Being new to this game.Provide an example of the names of the files you are trying to use under DVD Shrink...

Are you trying to open a DVD? Or some downloaded music files.

If the latter, I urge you to read rule 6 very carefully.

Thread moved to 1-clicks.

Confirmed trying to open a folder to get at my dvd files, and NOTHING to do with Rule No 6 whatsoever.
As previously mentioned Shrink is not allowing me to browse my folders. It will not give me access to my foders where my files are located.

p.s.If you are refering to my original post. This is just the name of the folder where i put all my "LEGAL stuff".

In your folder named "Phil's Music Downloads", do you have a file named "VIDEO_TS.IFO", or is the "VIDEO_TS.IFO" file in another folder (either named for the movie or named "VIDEO_TS") in the "Phil's Music Downloads" folder?

Are you trying to open a ISO image? Select "open image" from the drop down menu or press "control I".
