Hi,

I can't help you, because, there is some bugs with XMpeg and Mp3 codec. (read other threads).

If you install the mp3 codec, XMpeg will found it, and you can use it. But there is a bug, and when you start the conversion, XMpeg say he can't write the file.

There is a lot of solutions, but it change with your system.

Me, I use XMpeg to compress the video stream with PCM (uncompressed) sound. When it's finished, I use VirtuaDub with direct stream copy for the video, and Mp3 compression for audio. (refer to the thread named "Question for the Xmpeg Gurus", and the answer of Freezer)
