HDTV > Avisynth > Nero Vision DVD Authoring

Does anyone know why I would have trouble importing an HDTV capture to Nero Vision. Here are my steps.


Demuxed PVA
DGIndex M2V
Avisynth script (the script shows up fine in Vdub)
Import video to Nero Vision Express
Add 5.1 AC3 audio track


Other specifics, I'm trying to do a 16x9 anamorphic dvd so I have the 16x9 capture resized to 720x480. All I'm getting is black video in Nero Vision.

Version 6 silently converted my stereo AC3 to MP2 (creating some set-up hassles for play-back). This was without any demuxing involved. Dunno about version 7. Try a test DVD burn to the hard-drive, then look at one of the VOBs with GSpot or something similar. The Nero docs of course don't say anything.

Try converting to different color spaces at the end of your script. Maybe Nero expects some specific color space.
