I have a lot of avs files that need converting and I wish I could just drag them all in Vfapi but I have to bring them in one at a time. Maybe there is something I'm missing.. I just wish there was an option to have a preset setting automatically set when you put a avs file in the program.

I would like it if I could drop a avs file in the program without having this options window pop up.. I just keep the settings at its default settings so I think it would be cool if there was at least an option to disable this from popping up and/or a way to grab a bunch of files and drag them in the program.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask about this. Just wondering if there any possibility on an update.

The author of the VFAPI Converter does not appear interested in updating it any more, the specs for VFAPI are not available, and the source code is not released. So unless you can convince the author to do something (maybe release the source code), then there is nothing that can be done.

Ah that really sucks. Thanks for the info.
I'll try later in contacting the Author. Isn't the Author the same person who created TMPGEnc? I will see what I can do about getting in contact with this person. So far I'm not finding much info through the super search.. I'm trying other sites right now. If anyone got any leads.. knows the person personally or knows any good ways to get in contact, let me know please.
Edit: I think I found the name. Hiroyuki Hori.
the creator is from Japan and speaks Japanese and some English.. maybe this is his main page..

well one step closer to contacting him.. hmm think the whole trying to get a hold of him will be a lot harder than I thought.. he says "Please write the mail sent to me in easy English. I cannot answer mail because I am busy recently." If anyone can speak Japanese here it may help a bit. I might just try writing to him in English. Anymore help is appreciated
:thanks:

It's a kludgy solution, but AutoHotkey (http://www.autohotkey.com/) could probably help you get around the problem. It just depends if its worth all the effort of learning it and writing a script to do what you want.

I wrote to Mr Hori some time ago about it but either he did not get the email or he did not respond. Please report to us if you manage to get in contact with him.
