DGIndex Preview Flipping Frame Type Rapidly

Hello, when I load the VOBs for the video I ripped from my DVD into DGIndex, and preview to check the Frame Type, it rapidly flips back and forth between "Interlaced" and "Progressive", and Video Type shows as "Film". What does this mean exactly, and should I be using Forced Film?

Ignore the rapid flipping; it is quite common. If it says film, by all means try Force Film as your first strategy.
