Xmpeg 4.2a - GetAudio Call Error

I was wondering if anyone has come across this error in Xmpeg4.2a. Every time when the program reaches ~9.8% completed this error message pops up repeatedly until I exit the program. FlaskMpeg started giving me this problem as well. Im using the 4.11 Divx codec on Windows 2000 and a smp system. Should I just use an older version of the codec? Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks

Try to encode only the video, then encode the audio separately, with vob2audio for example, then add it to the film with virtualdub or nandub.

Hi,
I have the same error when I tryed to compress "Intuition" (I don't know the original title in English).
It stop at 9.8% (a bit more).
I don't know why, and I don't find a solution. But every others movies I compress, there were no problem.
Is it the same thing for you ? Just a movie, or every movies ??

Hi all,
since I am having much trouble with XMpeg I think I will stop using it and will start using Gordian Knot.
This because the last 4-5 films I encoded had all problems with syn with audio, and I cant use the audio grabbing of XMpeg 'cause if I amplify the audio, the resulting is crappy.
The last film I encoded is Pearl Harbor and it was a shame. I used DVDDecrypter to rip and when I use vob2audio to encode sound I get 5-6 seconds out of sync in the middle of the film. Then I encoded with GKnot the audio (using the demux of DVD2AVI) but the audio is still out of sync of 1 sec (not from beggining to end, at the beginning it is in sync, at the end it is out of 1.5-2 secs).
I don't know if the cause is DVDDecrypter or XMpeg or vob2audio, but there is something wrong. :(
Maybe that it is because the film is interlaced and there is no deinterlace option?
I'll try with GKnot and let you know ...
Ciao

Try and say me if the result for you is good too.
