Satsuki All2DVD is a GUI to transcode any video file into a DVD (with a menu) iso file ready for burning.
This software is an one-click-application, you only have to drag & drop the video files (divx, mpeg, mkv, rv ...) and you will get an iso ready to burn with your favorite software.
This software is spyware and adware free and is free to use for non-commercial use (if so, please contact me).

Typical menu generated by All2DVD (the background and the fonts are customizable by options in All2dvd) :

For advanced authoring like custom menu actions, dual audio, subs .... use dvdauthorgui for exemple, All2DVD is a realy simple gui to do standard dvd iso realy easily.

changelog:
* +Updated Quenc version 0.70.
* +Updated avisynth 2.57.
* +Added a "Test mode" option witch do a full working encode but with 1% to 5% of each video file (so you can check in a few minutes that it's all right before losing hours to encode).
* +Added an auto detection of he video file that would make All2DVD bug.
* +Added "Auto" option in ntsc/pal choise (with that you can put ntsc and pal video on a single dvd).
* +Auto mpeg AR in fonction of the source file, with autocrop (activated by default) there's no deformation anymore on 16/9 display.
* +Added 352*576 and 352*288 resolutions (or 352*480 and 352*240 in ntsc) and an "Auto" option.
* +Solved some sound problems with mp3 vbr.
* +Added prefiltering options (deinterlace, autocrop, deblock and denoise).
* +Added englsih language.
* +Reduced default size for dvd and dvd-dl to avoid oversized iso at low bitrate with quenc.
* +The menu can now use more than 24 title, you just have to take care than the font size is ok (with preview menu).
* +You can now choose the font, size and color to use in DVD menu.
* +Lots of other changes (i lot the changelog T_T).

Hi!

Please advise whether your program package installs any or all of the following codecs:

i420VFW.dll
iYUV_32.dll
MSYUV.dll
TSBYUV.dll
YV12VFW.dll

(If so, you should be aware that your uninstaller doesn't remove them)

my software install only the real yv12 codecs as described in the installer.
if the codecs aren't removed while uninstall, i'll correct the bug in the next version.

the real codecs are i420VFW.dll and YV12VFW.dll, my software doesn't install the others.

Thanks for that information.

Now, would you be good enough to explain why neither of the two "real codecs" can be successfully UNinstalled by either using the Device Manager to "Remove" or by performing:

c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe yv12vfw.dll /u

c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe i420vfw.dll /u

Also, is it possible that the other codecs I originally listed were installed as part of your program's installation of both AVISynth and Quenc?

=> no idea i've just tested on 2 computer and both method of uninstallation works great.
did you try to reboot your computer before uninstall ?
because if the dll are used by windows (explorer for exemple) you won't be able to delete the file nor unreg them.

"Also, is it possible that the other codecs I originally listed were installed as part of your program's installation of both AVISynth and Quenc?"
=> no way, quenc and avisynth doesn't install any one of the dll you listed above

did you try to reboot your computer before uninstallYes - and after, as well...

(This is why I dislike self-installers [Not seeing what's actually in the "package"], as opposed to zipped packages)

***UPDATE*** By doing a search for "Helix" via Regedit, I discovered the ONLY (valid) way to remove these two codecs was to execute "UninstallHelixYUV.exe" - buried in the Windows\System32 folder!

good information, i can now add for sure a valid uninstaller for the real codec in the next release.

i've just tested on 2 computer and both method of uninstallation works great.Based on what I've described (having to execute "UninstallHelixYUV.exe"), I find it hard to understand how you were able to do this?

Shinobu

just as i said, on my computer (xp pro sp2 up to date without wmp installed) the "add/remove programs" and the unreg + delete files works perfectly, but if UninstallHelixYUV.exe works on your computer (it also works on mine) i will use this method in my uninstaller.

it's great that you find and report an uninstaller bug but i realy don't understand why you don't thrust me ....

but if you think i'm a lier or an idiot please feel free to put my soft in a garbage dump and to say to all your friend that my softs are like crap.
i only do some simple softwares for my friends or myseft but put them on the net when i think it could help someone.

without wmp installedThis is likely the reason you were able to use my first two methods successfully, while I wasn't. I have WMP installed on my system.i realy don't understand why you don't thrust me ....
but if you think i'm a lier or an idiot please feel free to put my soft in a garbage dump and to say to all your friend that my softs are like crap.What the heck makes you fly off like this? All I said was,[COLOR="DarkRed"]Based on what I've described (having to execute "UninstallHelixYUV.exe"), I find it hard to understand how you were able to do this?

@Shinobu

Could be possible add at the menu a thumb of the video associated to each line. By extracting an image, by example at middle of the video or (better) selectable by framenumber or timestamp.

Anyway, thanks for your contribution.

@setarip_old
sorry, i'm not english native, so i misunderstood your answer.

@avil
as i said, ofr advanced authoring, use dvdauthorgui instead.
but i'll look at it, if the prog isn't too complex to do, i'll add this feature in next release.

the soft seems to bug with win 2000, it might be solved in next release.

Hi,

I see All2dvd made it to Doom9 :)

I can testify of the old and reliable activity in this forum (http://www.unite-video.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=7590&postorder=asc) for Shinobu/Satsuki/Yatoshi.

Glad to read you in doom9 english deep waters. From time to time, difficult to dive in for non english-native. Some sharks may be hunting :D

To get back in topic for a noob like ;) me what settings in All2dvd would approach DVDShrink regarding encoding-time and quality?

I am trying this with a quicktime file to DVD. This is something I couldn't do with Procoder 2 and got audio but not video.

One suggestion. How about the option of no menu. It makes sense if there is only one video.

Also, I noticed I have mpc.reg files in program files. Why aren't they in the program folder?

@bigdid
"what settings in All2dvd would approach DVDShrink regarding encoding-time and quality"
i can' t because because dvdshrink do only dvd2dvd and reuse some of existing compression stream to heavily boost speed and quality.
the dvd quality will eavily depend of the video source quality but if your source is ok and the bitrate of the dvd >3000, you won't seen any diference in quality between source file and dvd (with most of file).
if you plan to watch the dvd on a crt tv only, you can go down to 2500 in bitrate....
i sugest you test the differents bitrates on dvdRW, other options by default works great.

@nwg
the no menu if only one video is on my todo list but i have a lot to do before that....
the mpc.reg ins't due to all2dvd, but my decoder pack use some temp reg file in program files to store the mpc and ffdshow setting while updating, so if you heva mpc.reg in program file just delete it (or uninstall/reinstall decoder pack, it must solve the problem.)

I don't have the decoder pack installed yet. I did run the setup but cancelled it. I will delete them and see what happens.
