dd-wav on computers?

Hey, just want to know if dd-wav files played on a computer (with surround soundcard) play as dolby digital files or you just hear the "digital noise" like if it was a stereo source

if they play as dolby digital files, another question: can they be played two or more at the same time?

thanks in advance for any help and sorry for the stupid question, but im desperately searching for a way to play surround sound from whitin a flash movie
