Hello,
I have following problem with FFDShow and subtitles: I use a 4:3 TV to view my movies. So I use 4:3 letterboxing in FFDShow's subtitles settings. Now if I start a movie with subtitles turned off (or they're not automatically loaded) the movie isn't letterboxed anymore. If I load subtitles during playback, they will be displayed in a non-existent part of a picture, because FFDShow won't turn on letterboxing.
Is this a generic problem with DirectShow, that movie resolution can't be changed during playback or is it a bug in FFDShow?
And one more question regarding subtitles: What does the checkbox "Autosize" in Font settings do? I thought it should automatically use smaller font if subtitles wouldn't fit in window. But it doesen't.
