Hi There!!

I am facing this problem for a long time and finaly decided to ask for some help.

When I try to encode DVDs with Nero Recode 2 (Nero 7 Ultra latest version) it goes fine with all options, settings, paths etc... when I click for "Burn" (start encoding) it goes to process windows but than stays silent :( it doesn't start encoding at all. (I use Destination as H.D.D even tried direct to burn on CD/DVD but same)

On the other hand, if I rip the DVD into my HDD and than go through the same, it starts encoding normaly and does its job very well :D

I didn't find any error message in log file still posting here maybe if you can notice something.

Note: I have tried even using Daemon Tools also, but it gives same problem with Virtual Drives as well :(

Note: I have to cancle the process so I can close Nero Recode.

=============================================

My 2nd question is about Watermark. As you can see in log detail above, there's an options saysWatermark disabled
18:39:51 File burn_ndigital.cpp, Line 802Is there any option to enable the Watermark feature or its not yet introduced by Nero. If there's any hidden option, like command line or registry editing etc... plz let me know.

Thanks in advance for your time and help :)

I mentioned above its happening for long time with DVDs I am sure its not hardware problem also because recently I bought a new DVD Burner and now I have two Burners. Same problem is still there with new Burner also. :(

U cant do it straight from commercial DVD's (Copy Protected). Which explains why u can after u rip it to the HD.

FYI.... Nero Recode doesn't even analyze any Copyrighted DVD, when try to Import DVD it gives error message !!

The above error, as I mentioned happens after all settings done, and DVD isn't protected.

Sometimes the menu's aren't protected and nero believes that the hole DVD isn't protected. I've come across this situation already when Nero hangs just after the encoding starts ...

Try using AnyDVD and see if Nero still hangs. You'll have your answer :)

As I mentioned above, I have DVDs ripped in my HDD so there's no need for Nero Recode to worry about encrypted DVDs :D
