Hello
I have been all over the net and have tried on my own to use InfoEdit to remove a blue screen that I jump to immediately after starting the DVD (which is on my HDD) or (after removing a few jumps) when I try to get past the chapter screen.
I have used DVD Region Free+CSS and DVDshrink to get the files on my HDD.
I have followed the InfoEdit as best I can to find the "jump to files" but after "NOPing" everything I still either get the blue screen or a blank screen.
The blue screen has a message: "This player is incompatible with the region markings of this disc"
I am playing from my HDD with PowerDVD 6. The DVD and PowerDVD and Region Free+CSS are all set to Region 1.
It is a Region 1 DVD. This is not the only film, it happens off and on. For no apparent reason.
I have developped quite an interest in the whole aspect of DVD creating but am stumped.
Can anyone help?

northwoods, you will be better off with PgcEdit than with IFOEdit, as it's much easier to use.
For your problem, I would open the DVD in PGCEdit, then try to do a trace (look for guides on how to do that). A trace consists of playing the DVD just like a normal player would, which can show you exactly what goes wrong in your DVD (why you go where you go instead of where you want to go).

Also, you can "Kill playback" of the blue screen with PgcEdit. IfoEdit's Delete Playback works only on menus.

(BTW, the old program you are using is called IfoEdit, not InfoEdit.)
