I tried ripping Tigerland, and when I got to the save & encode/audio 1 process i noticed that there were 3 audio files made from dvd2avi (i followed all steps) and they were named .ac3, which is fine but there are 3 files and i need to know if i select the first file, will teh others automatically be encoded after the first.

or should i open the second of the files in audio2...(if so then i cant open teh 3rd file cuz theres no audio3)

the filenames are:

1 AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 3ms.ac3 323 MB
1 AC3 T02 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 3ms.ac3 138 MB
1 AC3 T02 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 3ms.ac3 138 MB

if this sounds confusing, its because i am!

any help is much appreciated

i plan on encoding the audio in mp3 format

Well, the 1 first ac3 file is probably the english 5.1 sound, the 2nd one english 2.0 surround sound and the 3rd AC3 file is probably french 2.0 surround sound. So you just have to decide what sound you want and select the correct file :-)

yeah, it's a little bit (?) easy to tell which is which from the channels and Kbps numbers, but is there any way to check if what you are actually chosing is English? the reason i ask is because i'm in region 3, where the best looking choice (ie: the first 2 channel 448Kbps .ac3) isn't always English.

i just ripped The Emperor's New Groove and ended up first with korean titles (like the movie titles on the screen) and Thai dialogue... talk about a brutal rip! :) i used vStrip because Smartripper just wasn't cutting it.

If you use smartripper you read the INFO.txt to see the streams
