Hi,
For some reasons, Megui doesnt do the job,
So i come with WinMEnc, that do a bacth file really faster and good, but i not trusting that this command line do a Real 2 pass encode :
mencoder.exe "F:\s05\the_x-files.s05e07.avi" -ovc lavc -ffourcc DIVX -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=528:vhq:vpass=1 -subpos 100 -subfont-text-scale 3 -subfont-blur 2 -subfont-outline 3 -subcp cp1250 -font "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\ARIAL.TTF" -sub "F:\s05\the_x-files.s05e07.srt" -nosound -o NUL: 2> 2.txt

mencoder.exe "F:\s05\the_x-files.s05e07.avi" -oac copy -ovc lavc -ffourcc DIVX -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=528:vhq:vpass=2 -subpos 100 -subfont-text-scale 3 -subfont-blur 2 -subfont-outline 3 -subcp cp1250 -font "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\ARIAL.TTF" -sub "F:\s05\the_x-files.s05e07.srt" -o "F:\s05\Divx\07 emily e\the_x-files.s05e07.DivX.avi" 2>> 2.txt

Some more skilled , can tell me , that whis 2 pass, really is a 2 pass encode ??
Because, i dont know what 2 pass do to discover the where is the stats file for 1 pass

Thank you all

"vpass=1", then "vpass=2" looks pretty 2 pass to me.
BTW you can read the fine manual here:

http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/man/en/mplayer.1.html

Be careful that using different sound configs in each pass can cause problems (mencoder a/v sync control sometimes can chance the number of frames).

My $.02

About the stat files, it's a hardcoded name (divx2pass.log) created in the mencoder directory, unless you override it with "−passlogfile <filename>". I never tried it, but can be useful if you do a lot of encodes in batch and may need to redo only some pass of one of them.
