Hi guys i just want a few poeples opinion about what is the best program for video editing VOB files directly after taken out of a dvd
ISO. At the moment i have to encode it back to MPEG and then put it in a program such as pinnicle and althought this is great the decode losses so much quality.

I guess it would be the best to use the VOB format itself rather than encoding it back to mpeg but Pinnicle will only use mpeg.
So in your opinions what is a wikkid editing suite that will recognise Dvd format or what is the best encoder so i don't lose so much quality.

I have tmpgenc which is awesome but if i take the dvd and extract the vob files it won't recognise them??? Hmmm, anyways all opinions would be greatly appreciated as i love video editing but i really want to come out with an awesome final edit.

Cheers,

J:cool:

Cuttermaran is a free and easy to use editing tool, and does so without re-encoding.
