I find that a program like Sector Extractor, Dvd Decrypter, ISObuster, CDRWin can access my DVDrom drive, but windows explorer will not recognize that a CD or DVD is in the drive.

So the question is, how are they different? How does windows 2000 explorer access the DVDrom drive? What layers is DVDecrypter bypassing that allows it to acess ma drive?
