Can any1 tell me how i can boost the dialog voices in a wav file ? I hav some wav files where the music is loud but the voices of the people are not. Is there any way by which i can boost the dialogues without boosting the music ? Actually the wav file is ripped from a movie trailer, so i hope u guys understand what i am trying to say.

you can try running through ffdshow and making use of the "voice enhancer" feature of the mixer. You can set ffdshow to decode "all supported" raw audio to get it to run, and then save the file with graphedit. Your chain would look like this:
source -> ffdshow processor -> wavdest -> file writer

You can also try boosting the medium in any sound editor with equalizer (EQ) function.
