Anybody who knows how to install and setup GreedyHMA to do a 2:2 PAL pulldown from GKnot?

You have to edit the .avs manually. GreedyHMA should come with GKnot installation already, it's just not enabled by default.
If you look at the avs, there should be a line for IVTC which gives an option for GreedyHMA(0,0,4,... commented out. Remove the comment and change the number 4 (auto IVTC) to 1. This should give you automatic pull-down recognition for PAL source and does not do decimation.
I'm typing the options from memory, so please someone correct me if I'm mistaken about all this... ;)
You can find the information of all the options from the GreedyHMA readme file if you get the full package. You can find a link from Avisynth forum in the longest thread about Greedy in the first message.

Thanks a lot!! Exactly what I was looking for. I will setup an encoding to see if Greedy can take the interlacing lines away. And also make a comparison with smart deinterlace to see which one is best.

Me again:) ! Thanks for the tip! Removing the "Load Greedy plugin" comment and the IVTC/"Greedy(101000)" comment was really easy and the movie looked really good. So, for those of you out there using Smart Deinterlace-this is a really good alternative without smearing the frames. It completely removed the PAL deinterlacing artefacts. I havent had time to look through all 200000 framed, but the ones I studied looked fine! Now I must test a few other PAL interlaced movies to see if the results are as good.
