DVD Shrink and Sony DVDs

This is in regard to comment by ammck55 to put in a better title to the post. Thanks for passing the link for DVDShrink ammck55. I wanted to know that since I have recent Sony DVDs , which I found from other posts in the doom9 forum, have a special protection on their DVDs.

Will the DVDShrink tutorial change for those specially encrypted DVDs , since the DVD Shrink Tutorial has not been updated since late 2004.

The DVD Shrink tutorial won't change much for "those specially encrypted DVDs," because the DVD must first be decrypted with a program separately before DVD Shrink ever sees it.

You might want to re-read the forum rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm) to which you agreed, in this case particularly 1 and 1a. Your questions are almost too basic to even call "newbie" questions and could very quickly have been answered by reading a few threads.
