to get File Info etc

Hi, PROs.

I apologise if this is in the wrong forum.

We know that GSpot (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/GSpot.htm) and AVIcodec (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AVIcodec.htm) are useful softwares that give info about .avi files.

Are there programs that aren't limited to .avi files only (e.g., with capabilities for .mkv, mp4 etc for example)?

Try MediaInfo, it's quite full-featured for that.
