What is the best way to encode only the Audio from a .VOB File? I'm looking to make the audio .MP3 format. Any Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

My "How to rip a DVD audiostream, using DVD Decrypter"
1) Load your DVD
2) Set DVD Decrypter to "IFO" mode
3) DVD Decrypter should automatically highlight/select the main movie under the "Input" tab
4) Click on the "Stream Processing" tab and check "Enable stream processing"
5) UNcheck all of the videostreams and audiostreams OTHER THAN THE ONE YOU WISH TO EXTRACT
6) Click on "Demux"
7) Click on the "Destination" icon and select the drive/folder location to save the audiostream to
8) Click on the "Decrypt" icon
Note - For an LPCM stereo audiostream, you may have to go to:
Tools>>Settings>>IFO Mode and increase the VOB size from 1Gb to 2Gb, in order to be sure to generate only one .VOB for the entire audiostream
You can then usethe BeLight/BeSweet "package" to convert to .MP3...

Change the .VOB extender to the extender appropriate for the audio format you've ripped (e.g. ".AC3" for 5.1 or Dolby 2 channel, ".WAV" for LPCM stereo)...

What is the best way to encode... Please read and follow forum rules, specifically, rule 12: do not ask what's best. Thank you.

Control pannel -> folder options -> 'view' tab
note: use 'classic view' on the control pannel
uncheck 'hide extentions for known file types
also, show all hidden and system files while you are in there ;)
...depending on the situation, I might go about what you are trying to do with winamp or dbpoweramp and ac3filter :sly: Might not even have to use a dvd ripper..
