What are .stat files????

I get releases with a folder and files in it that named xyz.stat
What can i do with this files???????

that's the statistics file created by nandub during the first pass.. it contains infos that are useful for nandub to know where to put the bits in the 2nd pass.. but.. since you have the movie already the file is of no use to you unless you plan on getting the DVD itself and encode it again using the same filters that was used to make the movie you downloaded.
