set MP3 delay

Hi!, I would like to set 2 seconds before the MP3 plays, i mean, 2 seconds of no sound and then plays.

Im trying to encode with mencoder..
mencoder XXX.avi -ovc copy -oac copy -audio-delay 2.0 -o XXX2.avi
and I can see:
Setting AUDIO DELAY to 2.000
but no effect.
Im in linux, any idea?
