I have an 8m46s mono file I'm trying to convert to stereo in order to load it in DVDLab. Thing is, after converting it to stereo with the "Classic Reverb" VST plugin via Kristal Audio Engine, the file appears in DVDLab's assets tab as being 8m47s and since the movie is 8m46s I get a disc compilation error. In order to get around that, I load the stereo file in audacity and trim a few ms from the end of the file to get DVDLab to recognize it again as 8m46s file, but then it's reported as being 1538kbps instead of 1536. Does anyone know why Audacity is doing this? What other good, free wave editor can I use to trim the stereo file?
