Serious Audio Synch Probs.

I've tried the guides section for fixing out of sync audio, and I think I screwed up my Virtual Dub. I tried fixing the audio on Rush Hour 2, but couldnt get anything to change even when i tinkered with the frame rate and interleaving. Now, whenever i play any file from the begining, the audio is fine, but if i skip ahead the audio is 20 minutes ahead of the video. I've tinkered around with all the synch options I could think of but nothing works. I'm probably gonna just reinstall it, but any extra tips on synching audio would be appreciated.

im no master at this but had you split the movie file???
i have out of sync with vdub myself so i do all my audio
with nandub i have no out of sync problems now :)

I was trying to split it at the time but could get the sound like I said. I reinstalled all the divx stuff vdub, etc, no luck. i think the problem was when i switched to windows xp, my vdub files got moved and it cant find them now. Guess I'll give nandub a shot
