I got this one a recording when demuxing with PVAStrumento.. Temporal structure wrong in GOP at 02:17:24.678. Dropping. Now looking at that time to me that looks like 2 hours,17 minutes,24 seconds and 678 frames but what i have recorded is only 50 minutes so obversly what i see is wrong so could someone explain what that is. the time i mean not the error.

Now in PVAStrumento when demuxing under the expert tab theres a option that says ' relaxed video PTS checks(dvb-t finland,uk). Now do i need to check this as im in the uk and why ??

IIRC correctly PVAS reports the time stamp time when it reports a drop, rather than the time since the beginning of the file. Its fully possible to see an error reported at 23:03 two seconds into a recording file.

There's nothing saying that the time stamps have to match anything in particular so they aren't necessarily anything remotely in sync with real time, but quite often they are correct GMT.

GMT (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Greenwich_Mean_Time)

IIRC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IIRC)

Took a guess thats what GMT ment just asked incase it was being used for something else.

So really that message does'nt really mean much at all as in does'nt effect the video or audio. What i recorded played through fine.

What about the relaxed video PTS checks(dvb-t finland,uk) option under expert, searched but did'nt find anything and PVAS does'nt have a help file to find out what that option is.
