MCE2005 -dvr.ms - how do i convert to x264/xvid

i do hav e a few idears of how it might be done but am not too sure

From that point, the sky is the limit on Mpeg to Avi conversion apps.

thanks - thought you might have been able to do it in avisyth using direct show line - will test it out now i have some time :)
