Can't DGIndex be runned in Win64?
I tried just to copy the DGIndex.exe file to Win64 but I then got an error when trying to open the m2v file ("DGIndex has encoutered a problem and needs to close."...)
Is there something I need to put in System32 or Syswow64?
Thanks

You're using a 64bit version, right?

That's strange, it works fine for me. What version of DGIndex are you using? (help->About DGIndex will tell you if you're unsure.)

Yes, I am working with Windows XP 64bits.
The DGIndex version I have is 1.4.7.
What happens is that I tried to install K-Lite Codec Pack (which installs 32bit codecs and software) and it did that into System32 directory (instead of syswow64). I uninstalled everything just after I found out but something remained in the system that makes all 32bit software/codec unable to work (it terminates and tries to send a report to M$).
Now only 64bits is working fine... and as soon DGIndex tries to open a .mpg file, it terminates also.
Eventually there is a 32bit file/dll/ax file left in system32 that is causing all this...
If you have any ideas, I appreciate.
Thanks

About the only thing I could suggest is using system restore to undo whatever damage has been done.

Another codec pack issue...
Please AVOID ANY KIND OF CODEC PACK.
