cant play recovered video files

hi

i Shift+deleted my "movies" folder by mistake

i found and could recover only some(using "recover my files") of them but none of them play on Winamp or windows media.

VLC says broken avi but is unable to fix it

thr files have their original size and opening them launches winamp but then nothing plays no sound,video or time shown.

How many .AVIs are you talking about?

If these movies are important to you, although it may be time consuming, you can always go back to your original source materials and once again create .AVIs from them...

about 6 or 7, not much luckily ,i keep taking backups on dvds.
