Hi there!
First of all, sorry for the common question... (After many years I should know :rolleyes:/)
Anyway, I'm having a problem with WMP 9 on WinXP SP2: When I put a normal audio CD in my drive, automatically the WMP start to copy the music files to wma on my HD... then I have to cancel the copy process and start the playback manually.
I've looked in the WMP settings and I did not find anything to set off that copy process.
Is there a way to change that, I just want to, automatically, play my CDs with WMP, not copy them!
Greetings! ;)

Does it begin to copy as soon as you insert the CD, or not until you launch WMP and try to play it? If it's the former, right-click your CD-drive under My Computer and select Properties, then click the Auto Play tab. Select Music CD, and select something other than "Rip music from CD."
