I have a set top box that is outputting slightly crappy video and need to adjust video that is captured from it to bring it back as close as possible to the source.
Fixing the contrast is easy, but can anyone offer any advice as to how to fix up the colour side of things, preferrably without changing colour format back and forth (its yv12).
If you look at the original (http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/6980/image11zj.jpg) you'll see that the red is a nice pure red, while in the capture (http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/6933/image28qb.jpg) of the output of the STB, there is some blue and green in there as well. The same sort of thing can be seen in the other coloured areas.
