Hi guys, I am I just wondering which one of these deinterlaces does better job in most cases in default settings based on your experience? And is any of these faster than the other by many fps?

(I am not asking which is best)

"Better" is still subjective if you don't cite your criteria.

If you mean my Smart Bob filter for VirtualDub, realize that it is a very early attempt at adaptive bobbing. I would opine that better Avisynth solutions exist, such as TDeint() and LeakKernelBob().

no I meant your DGbob for avisynth. well I tried to make it more objective by adding "in most cases".

The current crowd favorite seems to be SecureDeint from the MVBob package.

I like MVBob better. SecureDeint is more effective but the picture is blurrier and details aren't as crisp. I only use SecureDeint if the video has a lot of detail already.
